TASTES OF MEXICO
September
The annual Tastes of Mexico event is an evening filled with samples of delectable Mexican cuisine from a variety of local Mexican restaurants and caterers, authentic entertainment, a raffle with great prizes, and beer and margaritas. All proceeds from the event directly benefit P.L.A.Y. Inc.’s youth scholarship programs. The event draws over 250 guests for an exciting evening filled with good food and lots of fun!

AUTUMN ARTS GRAPES AND GRAINS FESTIVAL
October

This annual one-day street fair is free and has something for everyone. Talented local bands perform throughout the day, local artists exhibit their art and photography, and craftspeople display their crafts and perform live demonstrations. The fun for kids includes a chalk art expose, pony rides, carnival games, a petting zoo, giveaway prizes, and arts and crafts projects provided by the Santa Maria Discovery Museum. There is plenty of scrumptious food and fall fun for all!

SPRING EGGSTRAVAGANZA AND EGG HUNT
March

The Santa Maria Valley is invited to come out and celebrate the spring season. The Eggstravaganza and Egg Hunt event is a huge success, drawing well over 3,500 participants annually. Participants enjoy arts and craft projects, entertainment, pony rides, face painting, exciting games, egg hunts, and a whole lot of free fun.

SUMMER CONCERTS IN THE PARK
June, July, and August

Summer Concerts in the Park is an annual concert series where Santa Maria is invited to grab their chairs, pack a picnic, and come out to enjoy an array of musical genres. Participants enjoy an afternoon of entertainment in the great outdoors in the company of friends and family. Concerts take place the last Sunday in June, July, and August.
